Autumn Branch Square Tower Floor Lamp

• After reviewing lots of lamps, I purchased this. It's metal base is sturdy and holds up the lamp pretty well. After inserting 2 energy efficient light bulbs, I simply inserted the canvas top into the metal base and that's it. No tools required. The power code has a switch that you simply step on to turn the lamp on/off. It's decorative and beautiful to look at.
• We have this in the corner of the living room. It looks very nice. My wife is happy. I paired it with two 40w equivalent CFL bulbs and find that to be bright enough for reading nearby. It included foam pads to level the base if your floor is uneven. The foot switch is nice to have.

Ikea Ps Maskros Pendant Lamp

• We love our new light fixture. It is a great focal point and conversation piece. Shipping was cheaper than driving to Ikea. Had earlier passed it up at Ikea. So glad to have it now. Did use brighter bulb than it called for and put it on a dimmer switch for greater effect. Love, love, love it!
• If you love this light, be absolutely sure you have a big enough room with very high ceilings. It's beautiful, but it's 32" in diameter and you'll need another 6+ inches of loose cord to the base, plus the base is another 5". It might work over a dining table in a standard room, but not in a house with children.

Adesso 4412-15 Zen Floor Lamp, Walnut

• I bought this item because it looked nice. Was very excited to get, took it out of the box and put it together. The plastic cylinder didn't fit.There was a chip on it. I expected walnut and received black, Looks are deceiving. Please do not waste your money. I won't return it because its more of a hassle to return then buy.
• I was really disappointed with the overall quality of this lamp. It's made out of cheap wood with plastic semi-circular covers that are somewhat difficult to install during construction and/or if you have to change out a light bulb. The base never fit together correctly. Despite my efforts, I never got the lamp to stand up straight so the lamp always slanted slightly to one side. The only reason I kept it was that I had paid so much for it ($100+) and because it was hidden behind a 6-foot folding floor shade and was never seen by visitors. All that said, it did last me 5-6 years until a short finally made me not trust it anymore and I threw it out. For the money I would recommend buying something…

• I searched around a bit to find a floor lamp in this style and finally found one on another site...then went back to amazon and typed in the exact name and sure enough it was available for 30% less than the price quoted. Sometimes it is difficult to find an item on Amazon by subject without exact name. I was originally looking under floor lamps or rice paper floor lamps.....At any rate, once armed with the exact name I was able to purchase it for a wonderful price on Amazon. I am very satisfied with this lamp. It is exactly what I wanted, nicely styled and of good quality. I saw similar items at IKEA, but they were not as good looking and not as well priced.
• Initially I placed normal bulbs in the lamp, not a good idea. It looked inexpensive and obtrusive, therefore I opted for red party lights. The warm glow made an attractive ambiance and accented the red drapes in the dining area. A good accent and very contemporary.
