Rice Paper Lantern Floor Lamp

• This is an attractive lamp. I've used this lamp for 3 years. It's studry enough to have survived a move. You can vary the lightbulbs for different effects.
• Ever since I put this in my office, I've gotten at least 4 compliments on its style and the type of light it gives. It is simply perfect and SO worth the price! Oh, and I can't say how much I love the step-button feature that turns the lamp on and off. So easy when I'm walking in or out of my office with arms full.

Ikea Orgel Table Lamp

• Picked up a pair of these for the bed stand table. Typical IKEA "form follows function.". This was about the least expensive lamp on Amazon, and I'm pretty happy even though they are cheap.I expected them to be a little taller than they are. The specs are a little vague. The height is from the base to the top of the shade, as installed. I had assumed the height was 'base to bulb' so they are maybe three inches shorter than I thought. But they're fine; they serve the purpose.With the paper shades I'd be cautious about using a high wattage incandescent bulb, but with a 15W compact fluorescent they give off plenty of light.
• This lamp is very simple but modern, and that is why I bought it. It puts off a very nice, warm glow and is perfect for my desk. I use a standard CFL bulb in there and it works perfectly. My only complaint is that I thought it was a little difficult to assemble since I'm more of a "written instruction" type of person and since it's from Ikea, they only use pictures in their instruction guides. I also didn't like having to pay more than double the price on Amazon versus an Ikea store but I didn't have a choice since I don't live near an Ikea.

• I've had this lamp for over 6 months in our living room. Considering the price, I didn't expect it to be more than mood lighting; but it actually does a great job of filling our small living room with soft, bright light. I bought this at IKEA and bought the recommended light bulbs at the same time. One of the bulb is flickering now (the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5), and I don't know if the problem is the bulb or socket. The paper shade has held up to our cat rubbing on it and pawing at it (declawed). I think children or pets could tear the shade, but so far it's held up and survived a move.
• I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and heft of this lamp considering the affordable price tag. The base is a very solid brushed steel. The shade is very sturdy and wonderfully textured and translucent. This lighting piece reads as a minimalist sculpture to my artist's eye. This lighting fixture has three light sockets and radiantly and aesthetically warms up the room. If you like clean lines and minimalist accessories for your room, you can't go wrong with this lighting fixture at this very reasonable price.

Adesso 3637-22 Shimmy 60-Watt Floor Lamp with 3-Tier Shade, Chrome

• This lamp definately adds some spark to my room. It looks just as pictured. The only thing I do not like about it is you can see the light bulb through the rows of paper disks. It has a plastic guard that goes around the light but I wish it had something to blur the light more. I do like that you can touch any part of the metal and it turns on.
• I had purchased this for a bit of fun in my office and it's perfect. I read the other reviews and expected the hanging discs to be paper and foil, but that doesn't detract from the overall appearance. It was tougher to find the right bulb. I bought quite a few energy saving bulbs that ranged up to $12 and found that the cheaper 3-way bulb worked much better. The more expensive ones only showed one level of light, but the less expensive one worked as I needed.I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a bit of fun and uniqueness for your space.
